She was a lady who lunched

and she even got to dance with her brother.  It was an excellent day.

Every year we mark the end of summer by spending an afternoon at the fair.  We like to call this the “rainy season”, although this year it was surprisingly sunny both days we went. We eat a lot of junk food, ride a few rides, look at the animals, vegetables, art, and stroll through all the vendors, Blake usually plays a few games and we end up carting home a cheap stuffed toy that we shelled out mega bucks to “win”.  Priceless memories made…check.

this isn’t somewhere she frequents often, in fact she’s probably spent a total of 5 minutes in her room, but it’s ready when she needs it

she’s officially outgrown her premie clothes and fits into a size newborn perfectly now

she’s awake a lot more lately and looks around and takes everything in and smiles and coos all the time

its hard work being a baby

gosh i love that show, but this post has nothing to do with that kind of flipping out….here’s our kind of flipping out..

and come on, you gotta love that hair!

a package arrived to day for the littlest of littles at our house.  Two pair of babylegs newborn size.  At first look I was positive they wouldn’t fit my teeniest tiny but I couldn’t resist trying them on anyway.

Eek!  They fit! Adorable cuteness overload anyone?

he’s her biggest cheerleader (and he’s not afraid to use the word cute, as in “She is SOO cute!”
